All Things Well
**********************************
**********************************
I see the ocean roaming.
The breeze is still.
I feel the peace of the air,
And the serene of the sea.
I can feel the warmth of the sand.
Oh how beautiful it looks in my hand.
Every grain glistens, like the glean of a precious gem.
I pause to listen,
To the wonders of the world.
The birds sing,
The trees whistle.
Oh what beauty can't we see.
The leaves rustle,
The little animals shuffle,
The sun sets.
Awestruck I stand.
Oh how Awesome are the works of God's Mighty Hand.
Nature is beautiful,
Even more than what we can see,
Yet, of-coarse, His greatest creations are,
You and me

Help

I think this poem is divine!
Thank you Jeannie. He does do all things well.
THIS POEM is a beautiful and unpretentious work of art in my humble opinion and it reads like a Prayer of praise also, Thank you, it’s an inspired work and we all know your inspiration, no?

Thank you for liking it Mikey. This poem was written upon request. I write for my friends and my friends write for me. I was told to write something on that day without being given a topic but given a 3hr deadline to meet. I began to write as if to entice someone by a beautiful scenery, really targeting to appeal to a more sensitive side. I wrote each line coinciding with my original thoughts but near the end I was lost for words, and then read what I wrote and thought about God. The entire premise of the poem changed. I saw it in a new light. It was now about the beauty that God made. I finished the point so and still didn’t have a title, but then it came to came , “God does all things well.” It was inspired, yes, but on two different plains. I dedicate it to God now.
Inspirational, your love of God and His creation comes over well.
Thank you for your interest in this poem. All things are done well by Him and I hope that others realise that the beauty we see out there and within ourselves comes from Him.
